We collect what we need to take your order and run El Triunfo Rewards, and nothing else. We don't sell your data.
Who we are
El Triunfo 147, 147 E Berkeley Street, Boston, MA 02118. This policy covers this website, online ordering and El Triunfo Rewards.
What we collect
- Your order — what you order, any notes you add, and the name, phone number and (optional) email you give at checkout, so the kitchen can make it and we can reach you about it.
- El Triunfo Rewards — points are added to the email or phone you order with, so every customer earns automatically. If you sign in (with a code we email you), we also keep your first name if you give it, your points balance, and the orders you place while signed in — so we can show your points, let you spend them, and offer “order again” and your usual dishes next time. Orders placed without signing in are never shown in that history.
- Newsletter — the email you enter, only if you submit the newsletter form.
We never see or store your card details — payments are handled by Stripe (below).
On your device
- Your cart is kept in your browser's local storage so it survives a reload. It never leaves your device until you check out.
- Rewards sign-in — only if you sign in. A sign-in token is kept in local storage for up to 180 days so you stay signed in on this device. Signing out removes it.
- Payment. During checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud.
This site runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
Payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe — we only see the amount, the status and the last four digits.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make ordering work: Stripe for payments; ServeStack, the ordering platform that runs this site, El Triunfo Rewards and our receipts; and KitchenHub, which passes your order to our kitchen. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and tax. Your rewards points and signed-in order history are kept while you're a member. Newsletter signups are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
- Sign out of El Triunfo Rewards at any time from checkout. Your points and history stay safe for when you sign back in.
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it — call us at (617) 542-8499 and we'll take care of it.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
